“Berlin-1934' is series of works using paintings, drawings and architectural models to describe a fictitious event in pre-appocalyptic, World War Two Germany. It’s an exercise in the ability to reframe known events and create the believability in something that we can come to accept as "real” . Each architect, even though fictitious, has completed a body of work for the renovation of Berlin from 1934-1945, and this archive of work was recently found within the depositories of the United States Army. It’s a retelling of a time when architecture was to become the story of a “Modern” world only to collapse within the rubble of a corrupt dogma that would eventually bring the civilized world to the brink of destruction
